The research begins for my first solo exhibition…

My first collaborator, T-toe is a producer and performer of experimental rave-pop music, whose unique live show combines vocal, trombone and glockenspiel with electronic backing tracks. He’s a hugely talented founding member of the Bit-Phalanx Records roster with releases on numerous record labels.

His music covers a vast range of moods, ranging from fragile melancholic tales, to loud and rawkus fireworks, with the ability to make huge emotional impact on the listener.

T-toe – Thanks for getting involved and being such an inspiring first interview, I’m looking forward to sharing the images with you soon…

I’ve just had an inspirational weekend after attending a workshop aimed at recharging creativity. It’s now time to start work on this years E17 Art Trail, an annual festival and independent artist run project.

This years concept is still in the planning stage but I am hoping to find inspiration from local music.

I want to explore our Borough’s rich, cultural diversity by looking for international music (traditional or contemporary) being played in Walthamstow. There is a potential that sound may be included in the project and I am particularly interested in finding musicians that play traditional instruments who might want to collaborate and perhaps record their skills.

Anyone interested or anyone able to give any pointers can contact me on;

As well as design, music is my passion. My latest project combines the two, designing this flyer for I night I will be playing at in November.

Al Mackenzie has been busily recording his new album “In Memory Of…” for D:ream who reformed last year.

The iconic image of Gregory Peck seemed both iconic and perfect for the ‘black sheep’ concept I was after.
